Since I was born, I have grown up in a Christian home and have gone to church. When I was 8 years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I’ve always struggled with self doubt, fear, and anxiety and tried to overcome those feelings by myself. Now, I realize that I can not do that on my one. I want to get baptized because I want to publicly profess my faith. By being baptized, I want to leave the old me behind, walk by faith, and live without fear. Jesus has washed away my sins, and I want to celebrate that on this Easter Sunday!

As a child growing up in a Christian home and going to church, I always knew about God. When I was 8 years old, I put my faith in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. However, I never fully trusted Him. After I started Bellwether’s Rise with God plan in 2017, I have seen God working in ways I had not seen before. I’m reminded multiple times a day of the wondrous love of Christ. Even though I still struggle to give Him my doubts and fears, I have realized that Jesus lifts my burdens. Through baptism, I am publicly proclaiming His work in my life. I’m no longer a slave to fear. I am a child of God.
